Wine tasting and life
For my birthday this year I’m booking a room in Temecula with some friends for a wine tasting weekend! I’m stoked for that. My favorite birthday ever was my first trip to Napa, so I figured why not try some other wine country. Wine + friends = win.
Life? I’ve been UBER focused on my goals for this year so far in 2012. I’m normally such a little social butterfly but I literally have barely seen anyone. But I must say the focus is a good feeling. I’m amazed at my own self-discipline when I put my mind to something. I’ve also been doing my version of a cleanse that doesn’t allow me to have caffeine or alcohol for 3 weeks… hence no wine updates recently. I drink coffee and wine literally every day, so I figured it’s good to give my body a break for a few weeks. The first week without SUCKED, mostly because of the caffeine headache withdrawal. I seriously wanted to die. But week 2 I’m fine! Same as last year. I’m feeling refreshed.
There are a lot of things I have my eye on right now, and I really hope I get them! There are also things I am trying so hard to move on from and NOT think about. That perhaps is the most challenging of all… especially when it keeps popping up right in front of my face. Maybe I was hoping it would.
