Va De Vi - Walnut Creek, CA
Finally went to this place when I was up north visiting the parents. I tried the NV Nomad. Not bad. I love how this place offers you half glasses (which they fill pretty generously). The food is delicious too! Tapas style.

Solid Pinot Noir in the 20's
Great for gifts! Calera Central Coast Pinot Noir…. around $25 a bottle. Great buy if you have about a case’s worth of wine gifts to give! I ordered mine from the Wine House in Los Angeles. I love that place.

A red and a white... that I haven't tried.
Discovered two new wines this week… that I have yet to taste. This is purely based on recommendations. Red - Barrell 27 from Santa Barbara. I made friends with the owner of this wine store, and he’s going to hook me up with the guy that makes this wine. Awesome! Men like Malbecs
It’s true. If you want to turn a guy on to wine, and he’s not normally a wine drinker, go South American. Malbecs are the easiest go-to. Just a little handy note :)
